Timeless Hamptons Renovation
This renovation began with a humble four-room workers cottage, originally built around 1910. The goal was to create a timeless home that retained the warmth and character of the original, while achieving a high standard of modern liveability. To bring the vision to life, many of the home’s features were hand crafted, including quarried limestone tiles and re-machined recycled jarrah floorboards.
Attention to detail was central throughout. Handmade ceramic tiles were imported, while timber windows, doors, architraves and mouldings were all custom-made to match the home’s original profiles using traditional joinery techniques. The result is a beautifully layered home that balances craftsmanship with comfort; a transformation that went on to be featured in Home Beautiful, believed to be the first Bunbury project ever showcased in the national magazine.
